Marie is a Registered Trade Mark Agent. She has practiced exclusively in the field of trade marks since 1990 and is recognized to practice before the Canadian Trade Marks Office and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to starting her own firm in September 2000, Marie practiced with the Vancouver office of a national law firm for ten years and was responsible for the Vancouver office’s trade mark practice.
Marie has over twenty years experience in the preparation, filing and prosecution of trade mark applications and opposition proceedings, with a specialization in strategic planning for international filings and portfolio management. Marie is a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada, the Patent and Trademark Association of British Columbia and the International Trademark Association. When not at the office, Marie may be found on the beach playing volleyball or on the links looking for her golf ball.
